This is one of the most frequently asked questions we receive!
We at Toth believe that purchasing our products is a very important achievement and the realization of a dream.
Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of our customers, with durable, design and sustainable furniture. We always pursue this goal with a lot of love, transparency and honesty.
We know that buying online has become extremely easy, after doing some research and confirming the product to be purchased, with a few clicks we can make the purchase and soon we will receive the long-awaited product at our home.
In the case of solid wood furniture, it is no different, but we must understand some details of this product that are very important and we will explain them below so that this dream does not become a nightmare.
1. Stronger and heavier products
2. Unique and Exclusive Products
3. Larger and Reinforced Packaging
4. Assembly Care
1. Stronger and heavier products
Our products are manufactured mainly with noble peroba-rosa wood, this is a denser and more resistant wood, extracted through the demolition of old wooden houses.
Despite being more resistant, these types of wood also weigh more, so when making your purchase, be aware that it is a heavier product, which may require assistance with assembly.
2. Unique and Exclusive Products
As you may have noticed, our products are made from solid demolition wood, and peroba-rosa wood is the most commonly used.
Despite being of the same species, Aspidosperma polyneuron, on the same piece of furniture Peroba-Rosa can present different tones and colors, lighter or darker.
Furthermore, we are dealing with centuries-old, reclaimed wood, which consequently may have marks from nails and other fixings.
Therefore, we always emphasize to our customers that this is a unique, exclusive product, with different shades and possible marks from old fixings.
3. Reinforced and Larger Packaging
Despite working with reliable and selected carriers, due to the greater weight of the products, we always choose to reinforce our packaging, which also increases its volume.
Therefore, whenever you purchase a Toth product, upon receipt, consider having a third party assist you in assembling and handling it.
4. Assembly Care
This is perhaps the most important part and possibly where our customers have the most questions, so we left it for last and will answer it in great detail.
It is worth remembering that our wood is not uniform and standardized, and although there is a machining and finishing process, this entire process is carried out by hand.
We also remember that wood is a living element, which contracts and expands depending on the environment in which it is inserted.
Therefore, your product may need some adjustments when assembling, but don't worry, nothing that a little tweaking can't fix.
But after all, how will I receive and assemble Toth's solid wood furniture?
