How to Clean Solid Wood Furniture?

To clean your piece, you will only need a clean cloth and water.

1. Clean the piece with a cotton cloth slightly dampened with water;
2. Dry with a dry cloth
3. If a deeper cleaning is needed, dissolve a little mild detergent in water. Dampen the cloth with this mixture and wipe the piece. Then go back to step 1.

Important Care:

1. Do not use abrasive products such as soap, sponges, steel wool, etc.;
2. Do not use furniture polish, peroba oil, chlorine-based products, alcohol or any type of disinfectant or remover. The use of these products invalidates the warranty of the piece;
3. Avoid leaving wet objects, such as glasses, cups and jugs, or hot objects, such as pots and pans, directly on the piece for a long period of time. Some products, such as wine and sauces, can stain the wood. If stains appear, maintain the piece as explained in the section below.
4. Avoid exposing the furniture to the sun, as this reduces the durability of the finish and causes changes in the color and texture of the piece. Pieces exposed to the weather require more frequent maintenance; see the instructions in the "Maintenance" section for maintenance intervals;
5. Avoid leaving the wood in direct contact with surfaces that do not allow it to breathe, such as glass and plastic. For pieces that will be used with a glass top, it is important to use silicone (4 mm thick) properly to create a space between the pieces for the wood to breathe.
