Dining Table: Complete Guide to Choosing the Ideal Height
Share
Regardless of your choice of dining table, which can vary greatly in shape, style and material, the heights tend to always be the same.
For it to work properly, it needs to be high enough so that it doesn't pinch the knees of the person sitting at it. People of all heights need to have enough legroom under the table.
However, on the other hand, a table that is too high is uncomfortable for children and shorter people. In this case, it can be difficult to eat properly what is on the plate.
Because of this, the standard size of dining tables varies from 70 to 80 centimeters in height.
The important thing is to understand that the distance between the seat of the chair or stool is always, on average, 30cm from the level of the table or bench.

Notice how the height of the chair or stool always follows the height of the table.
